OR: What do you WISH you could have worn today? ;)
For those of us who aren't so into picture threads but still enjoy sharing our wardrobes and dream wardrobes!

So I'm still in my pajamas, but today I'm probably going to wear my Legalize Trans* shirt, some men's-like women's shorts (they're longer and looser fit, basically what I was going for by shopping in the men's dept, but nothing I found there fit right), tennis shoes, and baseball cap. I wish it were cool enough for pants. 3:
Haha~ I'm in my night ware as well; boxers and a hoodie.
So, I WISH I could be wearing a properly fitting tux. Would be wonderful, that...~
I would have loved to wear shorts today. These new cargo pants are nice and all, and they're not as bad the other new pair I've got, but they're tight enough to hug my legs too much, and they still want to fall down to my hips. Also, it's hot where I live, so lighter clothing would be healthful.
As cute as it would be to wear a dress with heels, I like to take the stairs.
Levis 505s, black Under Armor tee, Converse lo-tops & white sox.
Yoga clothes for me today! Lose tank, lose comfy sweatpant-shorts and flipflops.
Jeans and a hoodie, this time with a shirt under it (because it's unreasonably cold for summer right now :P).
I got some new boots! But it's too warm for pants, and I'm not wearing boots with shorts.
I'll have to wait until it cools down. :'(
The heat seems to be the TGs worst enemy, huh. :P
LOL
I wore a long sleeve black shirt today, despite the heat. Why do I torture myself? :-\
But covering myself completely in this heat is going too far.
*Nods* Right?
I've gotten into the habit (and tolerance) or wearing light jackets and long-sleeved button downs in 90 degree heat. Surprised I don't notice it as much as I do, but maybe it's cooler because the sun isn't directly on my skin?... Anyway, can't wait until I get top surgery; I'll be able to go around shirtless~ *Woo~!*
Scoop necked pale turquoise blue and darker turquoise striped T shirt and pale blue combat pants with denim pumps
I wore a tank, baseball cap, and made the awful awful mistake of wearing pleather shorts today. It was so so so so SO hot, omfg. I was absolutely miserable and drenched in sweat the whole day D|
Cargo pants, and a short-sleeve red button down over a Nike compression top.
A shirt and shorts that I altered myself from a men's shirt and men's jeans. Thinking of dying the shorts a different color.

A tank, skirt and wedge flip flops. Also light makeup . Felt good for an older gal.
It's going to be about 95F for the rest of the freakin' week. UGH
Gettin' pretty sick of tank tops and girly shorts... maybe I just need to cover myself in cornstarch before going out in a shirt when it's this hot. :\
Anyways, today I'm going to try wearing a t shirt, lol.

Converse lo-tops.
Ohhh, I gotta get me another pair of those. They're just too fun.*A*
I'm wearing a really OLD pair of men's shorts right now, back before they decided that men can't wear shorts that go above the knee. I really wish I hadn't thrown out my old gym shorts from high school, because buying something like Larry Bird might have worn is completely unavailable these days. Really, what's up with that?
Long sleeved V neck top in turquoise green and boot cut jeans
Sick in bed. Old jeans, comfy old top.
Same thing I wore to my last session. :(
I refuse to buy clothes for fat me, so I have a wardrobe that doesn't fit.
I wore the big black shirt and the gray shorts. I hate shorts.
Omg I got to wear a tank top and my "boi jeans" out tonight. Unfortunately, my mom and I decided that we were too tired to actually grab beers by the time we got to the bar. Boo. :P

(I hope this is isn't too non-androgyn)
Spent the day at the office in male drag -- "business casual."
I'm now in a red ankle-length jumper that has a full-circle skirt, with the same shirt. I plan to put on knee socks (to stay warm -- it's about 60 F outside), but haven't decided what color.
^ There's no need to hide the truth in here. Notably, that example does illustrate that business casual doesn't translate to "clothes I'm comfortable wearing" (at least in general), even though others would assume otherwise.
As for me right now, I'm wearing a t-shirt and shorts, because that's my standard nighttime wear.
Quote from: Kaelin on September 24, 2013, 05:01:20 AMthat example does illustrate that business casual doesn't translate to "clothes I'm comfortable wearing" ...
For me, none of the clothes that are marketed as "casual" are things I feel all that comfortable wearing. From both a physical and emotional standpoint, dresses or jumpers (or gowns) with full skirts are what are most comfortable to me to lay around in, with maybe full slips or underdresses and long socks. If it's hot, I go for a lightweight dress with a shorter (but still full) skirt, so I can twirl to get more ventilation.
When I go out, I often prefer to swap the long socks for tights and put on a dress shirt and a pretty or at least gaily-colored skirt, just because it makes me feel better about myself. I figure, my body's nothing to look at, so give the passers-by
something worth looking at. (So far, just about the only people who comment at all like what I wear, so it's a double win.)
I wore cargo pants and a polo-ish shirt to work and grocery shopping (which I'm ~okay with for casual work attire, moreso than any other work-designated attire, male- or female- identified), and then later it was a purple bikini bottom for swimming, and now I'm just wearing shorts (after showering).
I wore my pjs until I was done cleaning up the place and polishing my boots. Then I changed into my black skinny jeans, a black and white striped long-sleeve shirt with a cut up Alien Sex Fiend t-shirt on top. Then I switched out my boots' black laces for red ones to match my trench coat. It was such a productive day. 8)
Chilly and rainy today here so sweats for most of the day and then out to dinner with friends...Levis, polar fleece pull over, baseball cap, binder, Keen sandals with hiking socks and rain coat.
I went to my Unitarian "society" (a lot of members are allergic to the word "church") this morning for choir practice and service.
It is warm and sunny today, in the mid-70's (Fahrenheit), so I didn't want to dress too warmly (made that mistake last night.)
I wore my red calf-length skirt, which has a narrow white strip next to the hem and a pink lining, a day-glo orange petticoat :) , light blue tights, a light blue short-sleeve men's shirt, and black canvas shoes. I'd prefer something less substantial in the shoe department, more like flats, but I can't find flats in my size.
Anyway, while I don't think anything would make me "pretty," given my body, I do think the outfit itself looked cute.
(OT: Some day I'll have to figure out how to make a Disney princess dress that fits me (both in terms of dimensions and in terms of being suitable for my body shape. Then I'll have to get up the nerve to wear it someplace!)
IT'S ALL SUPER COLD AND STUFF OUTSIDE NOW! So I'm wearing white/grey socks, zebra print skinny jeans, a long-sleeve black shirt with a short-sleeve Cure t-shirt on top. And o' course my ankh.
Because of my fabulous circulation, it all sounds warmer than it is.

Jeans and tees, jeans and tees, jeans and tees... I know I'll get sick of it eventually, but it's been months since I could wear either without swimming in sweat instantly. I'll get bored of it soon, I'm sure. :P
I'm going to be doing two snowy vacations around Xmas, too, so it'll be my first winter identifying as something other than a woman, and I'm excited about giving that part of my wardrobe an update! Maybe I'll do a little window shopping this week... :D
Long-sleeve black shirt, grey cargo pants and a black sweater.
Blue trouser suit, white long sleeved top, flat black boots
My new pants (black and white plaid on the left leg, black on the right leg - tight fit), a white long-underwear long-sleeve with a cut up Cure shirt on top aaaaand, as always, boots.
I had to run a number of errands so wore a long-sleeve t-shirt, women's shorts, black pantyhose and Skechers mary-jane strap shoes.

Oh wow, never thought to use Polyvore for this... brilliant! :D
Today, I'm going to a wedding, so I'm femming it up since I'm slow on learning how to dress masculine or ambiguous "nice". I've decided that whenever I put on a dress, from now on it will be to make me look like a classy witch. I just need a black, floppy felt hat in my wardrobe!
Like this one:

I'm wearing an athletic tank top, black 5.11 cargo pants (the new stretchy, stain-resistant material kind!), a plaid button-up shirt and chucks.
It's about 70F and sunny, so I put on black tights, a light blue Randolph Mountain Club T-shirt, a lemon-yellow knee-length gathered skirt (with a yellow organza lining), a day-glo orange half-slip/petticoat under the skirt (visible only when the wind blows), and a blue hiking hat. I was walking into the village to get some of my son's favorite food and to pick up my mail at the post office. A one-hour round trip, especially since everyone and his brother was out on the sidewalks enjoying the warm weather.
Tonight I'll be going contra dancing; I haven't yet decided what I'll wear.
