Ruth Bader Ginsburg will be the first Supreme Court Justice to officiate a same-sex wedding (the wedding took place Saturday, August 31st). The wedding took place in Washington, D.C. which recognizes same-sex marriage.

I've always loved Ruth Bader Ginsburgh, and now I have even more reason to love her! She's so awesome!

I like Ginsburg (she is my favorite justice) but this feels a little weird to me.  Let me say that it has nothing to do with it being a same-sex ceremony.  I just feel it's a little odd to have a member of the Supreme Court officiate a wedding.  After all, it's not something you see everyday.  Nonetheless, kudos on her and the couple.
