Just wanted to see if anyone here is an artist or likes art. I spent 5hours on this this morning, its Sour Skiddlez(left) and me(right). Damn do I love that woman with all my heart. :angel: just wanted to share what I have done so far.

I am more of a photographer but that is very nice; almost wonder what it would look like colored. I think it would be even more pretty! :D

I plan on it, I just had to take a break, my Tendinitis is acting up real bad in my wrist tho.
Wow, just wow! I always envied those being able to draw :) (being musician, I could not draw a cat if my life depended on it..)

Nice kim, I used to play the guitar alot untill I destroyed my wrist. Now its really hard for me to be able to play more then maybe one or two songs a day. My channel on youtube has my cover of Poker face.

Haha I get that feel I used to draw; 12-14 hour days of World of Warcraft in my teenage years lead to almost crippling carpal tunnel so I know much it sucks.

awesome drawing teela, i myself very good in drawing, usually when i draw a cat people tend to see it as a snake ;D

I fancy myself some kind of artist, though my drawing skills aren't really skills at all. I'm a much better writer and poet, though I've always wanted to get into performance art. I'm a big art nerd too, I spend a lot of free time researching art history and the lives of my favorite artists.
@kai I wish I could write, ive always wanted to do my own novel or my own manga.

Ugh, this. I developed chronic tendinitis thanks to WoW and min-maxing on DPS. I have to stick to controllers now or avoid games that don't compel me to 1-1-1-1-1-1-1-1.
On topic, I do love art a lot, but I'm not much of an artist myself. The closest I come is being a writer. I do really like anime, and can really appreciate the picture you drew; great job!

I haven't tried that. I've been really into Final Fantasy XIV: a Realm Reborn lately. Before that, it was Dragon's Crown for the PS3. Even before that, it was Animal Crossing: New Leaf -- which I still like to turn on now and then, especially at work on break.
I'm pretty excited about FFXIV in particular. It's a really great, inexpensive way to distract myself from dysphoria and pass the time as I save up money for FFS and beyond.
I used to play black ops 1 and 2 alot, it was a great way to practise my voice. But I got bored of always playing competitivly. so now I play mech warrior, always been a gundam fan and its the closest thing to gundam, cockpit shooter wise. But I mostly pass my time drawing, ect ect. and working on my voice.
I been trying to copy Motoko kusanagi's voice in the english dub of Ghost in the shell stand alone complex, I've almost got it down, im just 1 or 2 octaves off so its just a matter of training it alil further ^^

I am a game designer does that count? :) I mainly design levels and such for my games not really art as nice as yours :laugh: I do love art tho :P

OMFG speaking of anime, I found a really well done anime thats really cute, its about two best friends who move from the country side to tokyo to attend college, one the main characters best friend transitions from male to female durning the series and they sorta end up liking each other ^^ its so cute. Like a lot of people here, I'm a musician. I am a bassist, but I play a little guitar. I am trying to pick up violin, viola, cello, and drums as well. Still need to get ahold of a viola and a cello though...
Anywho, I also do photography! I love abstract, b&w, landscape, and weddings :) nothing makes me happier than capturing a moment in time for someone! I cant do portraits though... it feels too... "set up" for me. My wife is a former model though, so she is helping me with that. Its an adventure lol

I dont really enjoy drawing much anymore. I would rather build it or render it all digitally.

Lightwave (which is actually used in TV and movie production), Poser and photoshop mostly.

Those are awesome paintings! they remind a lot of Van Gogh. I'm not usually a fan of landscapes but yours are just imaginative for me to fall in love with them.
I agree. Thats some beautiful paintings you've created. And I love the original post too. Big anime and manga fan here. ^_^
