I get so angry when i see videos posted on youtube by people that are so UNINFORMED and unwilling to do research before they post anything...

Check it out and let me know if i'm over reacting to this person?
... It's quite obvious from how this woman sounds, that she is ... incredibly stupid. She sounds like she can't think for herself. Heterosexuals are a minority? Seriously?! ... yeah that was about where I stopped. I just couldn't listen anymore.
That's really the magic of teh Interwebz...we get to see what some people are REALLY...*ahem* "thinking" about.
And keep in mind, in a democracy, they get a vote just like the rest of us. We're doomed!
;)

Wow I cannot listen to this woman's filth any longer >:(
Oh but then you missed the "smooches" kiss off at the end.
Sure this woman does represent a gospel based binary world and yet she does say "be nice" and knows the topic is controversial and asks questions.
I see this as opportunities for teachable moments.
I really hate videos on youtube that are controversial and then the posters censor comments - yeah right. If she would truely be living that "do not to others what you do not want done to yourself" ethic that so many of these christian cults inthe US preach, they should really not go for such topics. After all she is a woman and she has a dark skin - if youtube existed 100 years ago, how would she feel like if the people of that time talked about her like that, being in a group of people that are not taken seriously as equal members of society....
Ah - but thats the internet - you get all the crap in the world over the internet.
A) She forgot the days when she was not allowed to use certain bathrooms simply because of the color of her skin.
B) If she truly believe in her "Lord" then she needs to reread the book. What about the whole 'judge not" thing and "love thy neighbor".
C) Me thinks she doth protest too much. Heterosexuality is a minority? Really? Then why are there only a handful of states that "allow" same sex marriage.
watched the video to the end, i'm not angry but I feel sad.
I feel sad because I feel she is a good person but she dosen't seams very educated. She seams like having alot of idears and worryes which is unrelated, and it dosen't do good for neither her or us.
I would like to answer her questions if it where posible, only thing is we would had to take the bible out of it, I don't make debates with god invold, I dont want to heard the opinion of "god" I dont want to heard what god belive is right or wrong, I am not asking for gods opinion im asking for yours. its basic princip of mine.

That's actually a basic principle of communication. You have to start any conversation from common ground, from the points which you both agree on, and then move on from there. If she's making an argument that depends on a shared belief in a particular god, then she has to first convince someone of that point. Otherwise, no points that are founded on that point have any validity in that particular conversation. If such a foundation is lacking, it's important that people back up, find the points where they do agree, and then go from there. Anyone who tries to skip ahead in that manner is a bad communicator.
She's why I have resisted the urge to post anything myself on YouTube.
I don't wish to join her in that community of totally attention starved dreadful examples of humanity.
Plus previous comments in this thread have highlighted aspects that would only harm my mood.
I have enough problems, like my diet I am trying to make work, as I want a better looking waist.
Trying to give up chocolate excesses and chips and cookies n all the other things that are not helping me.
And getting excited about some celery sticks is not going to be easy :)
Everyone has a right to their own opinions and beliefs, but it is hard not to be angry and frustrated when people have opinions and beliefs that are like the ones this woman has. Uninformed and not willing to see the full picture.
I can't say I am mad at her, but I can say I am disappointed. Everyday I find further proof to loose faith in humanity, but everyday I also find proof to find faith in humanity. I can only hope for the best...

someones been reading barts comics
I knew where this was going once she started talking about listening to the radio on Sunday.
In Canada there have been several attempts to bring in legislation include gender identity and expression into the anti-discrimination and anti-hate crime laws. The religious right brings up the same arguments about bathrooms again and again.
I always end up frustrated because there simply is no way to get through to them once they are convinced that their God wants it that way.

Can't you say if they talking about other members opinion (god) so much then they must bring him along on the panel otherwise it unfair.
I mean, I can't just say "my mom think your gross, and therefore your going to hell" or
"my mom say we should make a law to discriminate you, because mom is always right"
well I may said something like that when I was younger but somehow it dose not work anymore :D

That woman is comically uninformed, and what's truly sad is she probably votes based on that misinformation. Democracy only works with a informed responsible citizenry, and that seems to be in short supply these days. Strangely, I don't feel angry with her so much as disappointed. She's clearly let her fears run wild based on misinformation she heard on the radio. If anything, we can blame those idiots on the radio for spreading such rubbish (though her lack of critical thinking is appalling nonetheless). Given how out there some of those claims are (Urinals in the ladies' room?!), it seems like the general populace needs a lesson in LGBT 101.

The sad thing is that mentality isn't far off. For many religious fundamentalists its exactly like that. They have chosen to only listen to one interpretation of scripture (likely from a small group of leaders) to the exclusion of all other evidence. Any time I've tangled with persons like that wether it be trans* rights, reproductive rights or creationism, it's like talking to a wall.
Now thankfully that mentality isn't shared by all religious people. I'd be willing to say that the majority of people are willing to accept that their views may need to be revisited. After all there was a time (and still a few places) where I and my parents would have been considered "cursed by God" and we would have been shunned based on my disfigurement alone all because someone told them so.

That youtube poster doesn't pass as normal in my book. Her mouth looks like it's upside down, her eyes are near her ears, she has the snout of a horse, she looks like she borrowed her hair from Little Richard, and it looks like even her shadow tried to take itself out of the picture. Sorry, I don't have room to talk but I just had to say it. When I listen to ignorance like that I just hear "Hee Haw!!!!".
You seriously dug this up just to spew that vile garbage? Makes one wonder just what does the trans "community" deserve when so much of this sort of thing comes from it just because someone disagrees with them.

You're right, I shouldn't have said it. I tend to stand up for those who are hurt, but not always appropriately so.
May I ask whether there was anything you had to contribute in response to the premise of the video?

The video is marked as private, so can't watch it. I can't form an opinion based on others' observations.
