Title: HRT stalling?
Post by: mrg58 on September 11, 2013, 07:55:45 PM
Hey there. It has been a while since I've posted/visited. I think I've just been in a slump, because it doesn't feel like anything is happening with HRT. In the first month, I felt huge changes. Now, it seems like nothing is happening.

Has this happened to anyone else?

Yes it has its ups and downs. One month is nothing, if youre only on month two then well all I can say is be patient :)

Hi mrg! (is it still Michael?)

Maid is right.  One month is just getting started.  Lots more to come.

Still Michael, good memory!  :)

I think once I get a bit further along, I'm going to ask my parents to re-name me.

I guess I just need some patience. I've finally started this process after years of wanting to, and I want it to move more quickly. I've been told that since I am still somewhat young, 23, it will probably happen pretty quickly too. *deep breath* Patience.

Just be patient it will happen in due time. Growth happens in  spurts, and it takes years not months.
Remember you are young and you have the rest of your life.

While some women have quick and rapid growth, it's important to remember that biological females spend years, literally from about 11-12 until 21-22 filling out physically.

I feel like there are plateaus or something. HRT has seemed kind of bubbly for me. Sometimes I notice a bunch of changes at once, sometimes it almost feels like things are regressing. But when you look at photos as the months go on, you will probably be pleasantly surprised :)
