Not sure if I've already ask this question on here, but as I see my GP tomorrow, I just need to know if Decapeptly injections or Zoladex every 12 weeks are as good or better than tablets like Spiro?
The letter from Dr Seal in London says I may need to go on Decapeptly or Zoladex if my T levels are not suppressed into the female range of <3.
Bethany, this isn't my area of expertise, but I believe you may have misspelled the medication, and it is also known as triptorelin? I found these links, some are older, I hope this helps, hugs, Devlyn

Decapeptyl, AKA Triptorelin.
Searching the board index for Zoladex by clicking the "Forums" button at the top of the page, then typing Zoladex into the search box produces 43 hits, give that a shot. Hugs, Devlyn
I was given Triptorellin acetate, I had a funny reaction to it. (it made me paranoid and super anxious) although it's not too bad once it settles down after a few weeks of taking the shot.
How long is the needle for Decapeptyl. Having injection done tomorrow and after looking at pictures, it looks VERY long!!!!

Oh VERY long... It's intramuscular. 1.5inches 20gauge(white) (thick chunky) It sucks... No two ways about it.
I had Zoladex Implant in the end. In the letter from DR in London, he gave a choice of two and my GP decided on Zoladex.
