Title: Transfering drawings to canvas for acrylic paints
Post by: randomroads on September 18, 2013, 09:56:51 PM
I bought a Winnie the Pooh coloring book because it has some pictures from the classic 1977 movie that I love so much. I would love to buy some canvas board and transfer these pictures to it and paint them. My goal is to produce something decent enough to offer for sale at the next art fair/festival. However, I have no idea how to transfer line drawings to canvas!

Any advice?

I'm unwilling to pay hundreds of dollars for a projector and even if I could pay for one, I have no where to put it and can't justify purchasing something like that for a small project like this. I have zero access to one for free.

I wonder, though, if a local library might not have one of those old-school projectors that you could use. The only thing you'd have to do is copy the pics onto transparencies...

Libraries always seem to have random stuff like that.
