Okay, so here's my problem. I have a very disproportionate body. I'm 5'9, 150 lbs, so you know, fairly tiny. But here's the kicker...mens size 13 feet. I mean...damn. Where is a good place to find cute and affordable shoes in this size? It'd probably be in size womens 14. I want to find some cute flats, pumps, and mary janes. Any advice? I can't go out and drop $80+ on these either. Thanks!!
I find some nice things in the clearance section of Off Broadway shoes. They may have a website if there isn't one local to you.
I frequently find myself in the same boat, especially when hunting for a particular style to go with an outfit.
Larger sizes, try PayLess Shoes. I know a bunch of drag queens who shop there and some of them have very large feets.
Yeah! I've been told from a few people to check out Payless and DSW. I haven't made my way over there yet. I plan on it this weekend. Thanks ladies!
You may have trouble at Payless, most of their selection drops off at 10, and after 12 is nonexistent. I don't believe I've seen larger.

It could also be different in your region as well. Mom always took me for shoes to Kohl's, and while left alone to "try them on" I would browse the women's shoes. When I lived in Massachusetts, they went up to women's 12 and 13, but in Florida they were limited to size 10. I think I may have found 1 size 11.

Oh definitely! I don't bother with Kohls here. Too many cute things I can't have. Here they end at a 9/10, and I'm a 10.5/11

That's all mom would take me to. For boys clothes, though. I never really cared what she bought me, as long as it fit, which nothing ever does. I used to be a 29" waist (I think I'm at 31 now but I can loose weight) and have a 34" inseam, thinking women's clothes don't fit is an understatement, neither did men's.
When I was younger, I also had women's running shoes, mom chose the colour as a gender-neutral green. They fit better because I have rather narrow feet. They don't make men's narrows, just men's wides, avalible in stores. So my shoes always flop around. If my feet were shorter, it'd definitely be an easy part of transition.
