im not doing T, but no matter what, any of the practices for "deepening your voice".. they dont work
and im worried that id never be accepted as male by strangers if my voice is like Bubbles from PPG..
so before doing T, are there any methods to deepen my voice?
ive tried mimicking male spoken parts in movies, or deep music vocals but it seems silly and doesnt help at all
I'm not a vocal expert here, but if you're okay with putting up a clip of you speaking normally, I'm sure others around here can give you some sound advice (yes, I am rather punny) on how to help your voice pass. Plenty of guys have high voices, cis or trans, and there's ways to help counteract that to sound more male- besides, it may not be quite as bad as you think it is. I'm pre-T, and mine sounds like a mouse to me, but to other people it passes fine for a guy going through puberty (the cracks help though, it's been doing that on its own. mind over matter :P). Good luck!
how would i put a clip up?
and ive had even my gf tell me how weird and high my voice is
she thinks its cute but its very embarrassing when others call me a girl
You can use someplace like soundcloud or youtube to record yourself and then link to that in a post. I feel you on that embarrassment part, but don't give up hope that you can't make yourself sound male.
Btw, have you ever heard of a video called "Boom Your Voice"? If not, the info can seem like a silly thing to do but it might be of use to you:

This technique is known to work. But I don't know to what extent. Any of these things is a potential strain on the vocal cords. You might try to find a speech therapist. Some of the mtfs do this. You might try and find who they see.
There is more to a male voice than pitch, there is also resonance and so on.

I feel you man. My voice is so girly. Not only is it high, but I also change my pitch quite a bit and I'm always having to remind myself to speak lower and in more of a monotone. The monotone actually does help some if I can remember to, but normally I forget and anyone questioning my gender immediately thinks I'm a girl.
My problem is my voice changes when I am nervous or talking on the phone. It goes up what feels like 2 octaves and cracks my friends up.
Seems to take longer being identified as a male on the phone. Just happened to me yesterday. I am thinking I have passed in person since 4 months (I'm 7 months).
