I am so excited yesterday I started contacting the hr department at work about my transition coming out at work, i found we have an lgbt support group which is helpful, but more to my extreme excitment was the fact that following the WPATH standards the company will offer financial support as well employment security for me during my transition. I can submit all my counciling bills for 70% reinbursement they will cover my hrt at our prescription rates. all medical expenses including srs and facial feminization will be covered at the standard rate and out of pocket cost. I will be able to easily afford to move forward and shorten my time by a couple years by eliminating the finacial restrictions that was slowing my process. I have my first laser session this friday. I feel so blessed with news I just needed to share and I dont have group until tonight but couldnt wait hehehe. I had a phone call from our insurance carrier to verify coverages and set a time line for srs goals. I am so excited i can barely type,

Wow, that's awesome! It must be such a weight off your shoulders knowing that a lot of the financial burden is gone. Good luck as you move forward with your transition :)
thank you so much bethany and Sarah and yes it is a tremendous relief, I was so afraid about coming out at work and as it turned out this is by far the best experience, goes to show you fear can play ones mind very badly and facing our fears this time has really set me in motion. I am so giddy i cant keep my mind on work today lol, I feel like treating my self to somthing special tonight before my session
