Hello everyone,
I just wanted to share my good news. I just got back from the doctor with my first prescription! Seems like he started my on a normal dosage of testosterone blockers and a lower dosage of estrogen. After my next appointment with him on 27 October, I should start on a higher dosage of estrogen. I just took my first pills!! Oh my god, I cannot find the words to express how happy I am. Really. Hehehe :)

While I can't give you your plate of cookies and welcome you to the dark side. I will leave that to Janet.

I'm so happy for you Mary.
Have you felt differently yet?
Well, it is probably too early still to notice any real changes. It has only been one week. My nipples feel a bit more sensitive, mind you. I can feel them against my shirt all the time. Also, my testicles seem to have shrunk some. However, both of these things might be just in my head
The biggest changes I have noticed have mostly been somewhat unpleasant. For the first few days I felt sort of out of it, but that seemed to pass by Monday morning. Aside from that, I have generally just felt unwell - sore muscles and joints. I got nervous about it and went to my doctor. Since I had some surgery not too long ago, he wanted to rule out DVT, so I had a vein ultrasound done. It came back ok, which was a huge relief, but I still feel horrible. I guess my body is just getting used to it. Though, it is pretty unsettling. Not sure if anyone else has experienced anything like that.

Congrats "Sister"! ;D
