I am in a great mood today. really just the gods are smiling down.
the weather is finally cooling off, I'm feeling less depressed, my grades are good, like everything is looking up
updates:
I came out to the girl i love yesterday. she's Mormon and i was really hesitant to because it could go multiple ways. but i told her right out, hey I'm transgender and i like girls. she just smiled and nodded and just asked casually "well that's neat are you going for the full shebang or what?"and i just told her i'll probably just go on hormones and look like a man on the outside. and she was nothing but supportive. even after i told her i liked girls she still brought me in the house and cuddled with me the rest of the night. it really couldn't have gone better. god i love her so much.
and then this morning i came out to another friend, he's gay and totally understood where i was coming from cuz he's friends with a lot of trans people and was also nothing but supportive.
I plan to get the word to two more friends who are equally as accepting and i just really feel on top of the world ya know? I'm so lucky to have such mature friends. this whole process could have been much harder but they're making it so easy for me really.
so riding this awesome wave of self esteem im going to go buy myself some of my first men's clothes. the weather's changing and i could honestly use some new jeans so i'll treat myself.

Congrats! ;D I am so happy that you have gotten this sort of acceptance. The first steps are by far the scariest and knowing you have friends who have your back makes it much easier.
