Title: An invitation before starting a short evening hike.
Post by: kathyk on October 11, 2013, 03:40:48 PM
I read DrZoey's topic earlier today and was thinking about posting a reply on her thread, but decided to repost her link and do something a little different. https://www.susans.org/forums/index.php/topic,150525.0.html

Coming out is so difficult and it raises our worst fears, and that fear alone can stop us cold.  So, I'd like to ask some of those GUESTS who linger about this forum and read our stories to find a little light in this day without having to fear coming out.  I know some of you GUESTS just browse, but a few are turly looking for answers to help fix your lives.  Well, maybe today is the best time to begin life by logging in to ask those questions, and it's far better than hoping one of us will ask the same question.  I finally logged in one night when someone else suggested the very same thing, and I've learned a lot about life since then.  Asking the questions in a place where people care and know the answers through experience is wonderful.  And if you've been reading our posts you already know many of the girls here are very willing to help.

Now, as for me ... I have to go climb a hill and watch the sunset over Lake Superior and photograph the fall color of maple, oak, and poplar trees in the diming light.  That's the way I feel today.  It's good.

Take care.

I would love to give a big ole +1 to that, because if you stay in the dark forever, the light will only be harder to adjust to. Im only 30 but wish i found a site like this so much sooner so i could have started my transition sooner.
