Title: What Category am I ?
Post by: Megan123 on October 16, 2013, 03:29:46 PM
What Category am I?
Where do I fit in?
I am Male to Female. I have a Psychiatrist and a Therapist. I am going to tell my therapist this Friday Morning. I told my 26 year old daughter and she is OK with Daddy making the change.
I am 56 years old. My testosterone is very low. My endo Doc started me on Testosterone gel and my breasts are beginning to grow. My nipples are getting larger, they are sensitive and I love how the girls look.I refuse to go backwards. I am going to ask for hormone treatment (estrogen).
This thing I have; I want it gone. The idea of penetrating someone with it is repulsive to me. Have not had an erection in at least a year. I dont like how erections feel. An erection on someone else is just fine; I just dont want an erection of my own. I want the testicles gone. I want my Magina.
I can close my eyes and believe I can sense my Magina.
I cant have a Vagina because a bio Woman has a Vagina. I respect a Bio Woman. I can never produce milk or have a baby but I can have a Magina and grow boobs and wear dresses with makeup. Wear my hair long. I dont want to disrespect a Bio Woman in any way. Please respect me for being feminine.

Where do I post on this Forum ?  What category or box do I fit in. Here I am getting out of the box and right away I have to choose a category. Is this the correct place to post.?

You don't have to have a category or a label. If you feel like a man, you're a man. If you feel like neither, you're androgynous. If you feel like a woman, you're a woman. If you feel like none of them, youre agendered. If you're a combination of some of them, you're just like most people, they just don't realize it.
But above all, you feel like you, so you're you. :)

Thank You Willow... I am a woman. I guess I am trying to ask; where do I post at on the Forum?
I get confused sometimes .. I am just asking for help about where I need to post messages.
I feel like a woman, as best as I can.

I would suggest the MtF forums... it's for women who have lived as a man for a significant portion of their lives and are just plain fed up with it, getting ready or transitioning to show their true selves to the world.

There's a lot of helpful advice there from a lot of wonderful women (and occasionally from wonderful men) who know the ropes and are ready and willing to help by sharing their experiences.  :)

Welcome, sister.  <3

Post messages where they fit.  If it is a MTF transsexual topic, thats where it goes.  If its about Discrimination, guess what? there's a section for that too.  Also, don't worry about posting in the wrong section, many do and if its really that big of a deal, a moderator will move the topic for you.  You're overthinking this whole thing. :)

Oh and welcome to Susan's

I post wherever I find it appropriate to post. I have that feeling I don't really fit into any specific category, androgyne the most but it's not the most active part of the forums so I appreciate reading around. Suddenly I find something I can contribute on regardless of what's between my legs and my ears. And that's what matters to me.

Another thing that matters, is that you can learn to enjoy presenting the way you want to present and allow yourself to feel how you want to feel. And only you can answer that, although others can come with ideas. Terminology is fancy as you can come up with something solid, something to categorize with (and many people appreciate the simplicity of at least a somewhat appropriate definition of themselves), but I really really hope it's okay to not "have" to fit into a certain category.. otherwise I'm screwed. :p

I have a feeling my posts don't fit into any category, sometimes. They're atopical... but that's ok! :D

Megan... your therapist will be able to help you figure out who you are. I suggest finding a gender specialist, but your current therapist might be ok!
I'm pretty new here myself. Welcome!

There is a general forum for a reason, topics that don't fit any where else.
