Ok I am a young ftm and I would like to get on testosterone. My voice is too high and my boobs are gigantic. I also have a very round face with girly features and I feel like testosterone would help alot. I get bullied about it alot -.- Any way I can get some for under 30 dollars a month? Remember Im young so I cant get a job and my family is poor. I need help!!
Hello, and welcome to Susan's. Someone should be along to give you the official welcome, but I wanted to address your question.
I get my testosterone at a local pharmacy and pay about $10 a month for the T itself and the needles. I was paying a bit more when I was on a higher dose, and I pay a little extra for other supplies such as alcohol swabs. I used to get T through the mail from Strohecker's, and I have filled a couple of scrips cheaply through Costco. However, if you are pretty young, you can have a hard time getting a prescription.
I suggest that you do a Google search for TransYouth Family Allies and see what information you can dredge up.

See a doctor, and have them prescribe it to you. After that, insurance should take care ofost, leaving a copay of less than $25 or so a dose.

Well, two or three copays of $25 a dose would be better invested in just buying the stuff out of pocket from the right pharmacy. And a lot of people don't even have insurance, let alone insurance that covers trans meds.

Some of the needs I've taken are 100+ dollars a dose. It's pretty ridiculous.
I think I'm using the word dose incorrectly. I mean per perception, rather.
And, if you have smart doctors, they can bend what the issuance sees. Like my gender therapy is to be labelled "general psychology" and HRT as a "hormonal imbalance"
