Title: Looking for some help and advice
Post by: kaylagirl0806 on October 28, 2013, 09:13:00 PM
I'm a transgender girl and I wrote a letter to my parents coming out to them last year. The problem is , they talked me out of it for awhile saying it was just hormones and that it was normal and that I would grow out of it. This being said, they don't believe that I'm transgender and I've been trying not to bring up the subject since. I wish I could act on my feelings. Anyone have any tips that would not be too obvious but help me feel femme?

Hi baby! I am glad you are a pert of the family here. You asked a real hard question to answer. Need to know a little bit more to help you. Do you mean physical changes or something else? PM me and it will be private between us if you feel better about doing it that way. Here's a BIG HUG so you don't get depressed or too sad.  :)

Welcome, Kayla,

You're a girl. That's all there is to it. I recommend you find a therapist (one that is familiar with gender issues, that person can help you drive it home to your parents). This might be easy to work out, just continue to tell your parents how you feel and suggest that maybe a therapist might help you get fixed is if you wish to be a happy boy. It's a small lie and a harmless one. The truth is just what Willow said. You're not actually broken, you're just in the wrong body. You need to bring out the real you, it's what's going to make you happy. You've found a family here, little sister of mine. Not only do we understand, but we're 100% on your side. You always have us to lean on when it gets to be too much. Don't be afraid to reach out and ask questions of any of us.

love,
-maggie

Little things would be buying nail polish, some jewelry, just start growing your hair out, when you guy clothes..if you're still forced to buy guy clothes, you can buy a LITTLE tighter fitting ones.
