Title: Understanding Myself
Post by: Kubbi Fang on October 28, 2013, 10:56:40 PM
Hello,

I just happened to stumble upon this forum by chance while searching for more information about trans related topics. For the past couple of years I have been slowly coming to terms with my own gender identity. But I have only been able to express my own identity with other people in the past couple of weeks. In relation to my gender identity, I am still trying to understand how I truly feel about myself and who I really am. I'm still in high school and I haven't taken too many steps towards transition, but i have came out to my parents and a few friends. Also, I scheduled an appointment with a therapist next week and I hope to try and understand myself better by seeing her. I still have no idea what the future will hold for me, but I do want to try and learn more about this community and, in the process, learn more about myself.

-Thanks!

Hi, Kubbi!  :D

Welcome to the family. This place might be the greatest ever, the people here certainly are. They don't mind if you ask many questions, so ask away. There's no hurry though, move at whatever pace makes you the most comfortable. We're not here to judge, we just want to help you find yourself. This is a safe place, I promise.  ;)

your sister,
-maggie

Hi, Kubbi.  :icon_wave:

I think we all start out our journey with some level of uncertainty.  I know I did.  Drove me nuts!  But as soon as I came here, it's been amazing.  I have learned so much in such a short time, and discovered so much about myself in the process.  I'm sure you will in time as well. :)  Everyone is so wonderful here.  It really is a family. :)  Welcome!

Welcome to the family baby! You have found the most special place on the net. Momma Susan has given us all a nice safe, supportive, educated and great atmosphere for learning who we are and how to change what we feel needs to change. This family is the most caring, patient and fun place on the net. As Maggie said this is a safe place. No one judges or is too busy to answer the questions you may have. It is a really addictive site where we can grow in peace. So, welcome to the family and start getting to know us and us you. Have a great day! Here is a BIG HUG to start it off right!  :)

Welcome to Susan's Kubby!

Welcome to the family, everyone here is great so if you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask. In just a few days I have seen that everyone here is always willing to share the knowledge they have.

Greetings, Kubbi!  Hope your therapist appointment goes well.  What I first said to my second therapist was, "I have gender issues."
