Title: So I went to the gynocologist today
Post by: calico on October 31, 2013, 04:04:30 PM
Yep had an apointment scheduled with the gyno today, basicly I just wanted to have a check up to see how I was doing being that I am now going on 8 month post op. Everything went fantastic. ;D we went over my meds and some brief info before she had me slip into a gown and get on the table, and when she first went to look she was "wow, you have healed quite nicely and whoever you chose to do your surgery did a fantastic job"  ;D she did her axam and took a qtip swipe , mainly because I'm not at all dry down there, and outside of haveing a lil higher than normal yeast count everything was in thenorm for a nice healthy sexually active vagina  :D as we were finishing up I asked once more "so everything is all good" and she said " yes everything is just like it should be, if you hadn't of told me about your surgery I wouldn't have know untill I got further into your exam."   ;D so yes needless to say I am beaming with happiness after the visit , she did however give me a script for the yeast issue but id say my lil check up made my day!!

Thanks for the gyno report.  Who was your surgeon?

I am curious as to who your surgeon was as well. And if you don't mind me asking a personal question, how is your depth?

I went to Chettawut in Thailand, and as for depth per his dilator 6.5" or just past the last dot on the orange soulsource dilator I upgraded to.

Very nice! I am a fan of Chett and Suporn's techniques, and will be employing one of them myself in a couple of years, if all goes as planned :)

Lol, that happened to me once. I was too shy and slow to tell her and she just rushed into the exam and then cursed a bit as she could not find the part where the uterus meets the vagina to make a swipe for viruses there. She was mad at me for not telling her about the surgery. I didnt go to her after that, as her personal treatment of me changed after she knew it, though. I was excited about this as I did not think my result was that great, I could not afford going out of the country for it. I still think I could use some visual improvements but apparently natural variation is large enough to make many things at least feasible.

I wonder how a doc does not notice the outside scares. On pics I saw online it looks obvious.

What did it change after she knew ?

Maybe it depends on the surgeon's technique? I have only two visible external scars (down the middle of each of the outer labia), and once the hair grew back in they were basically covered.

I actually went to a gynecologist who did the internal and *still* didn't figure it out - and I assumed it'd be obvious, so I didn't think to say anything! I guess even my internal scars are plausibly located for episiotomy/hysterectomy, or something.

mine is similier I believe technique does have a lot to do with it my scars were blended into the outer labia and when hair grew back it made it not visible inside she even said scaring was minimal and that I had healed very well . Either way I am happy

Yes I assumed somehow that she would know anyways. With scars and other visual clues (I have the PI technique done not the new one) and maybe combining that with my appearance and voice. I do have some small scars at the labia, which are rather well conceiled, but I have a big "W" scar on the top which was used to bring together the labia and there are two more small ones even more up. All of these are covered by hair though as I tend not to shave, in part because of the scars.
