many people speak of wanting or seeking happiness; yet, this assumes that happiness comes without a cost. what are you prepared to sacrifice to be happy?
I was prepared to sacrifice everything to transition: job, family, relationship, and the hope of ever having a relationship again. I think I had to get to that point before I could do it. It was a good decision.

Anything but my mother.
Nothing! I have sacrificed enough already. If I sacrifice the few things I have managed to keep, I will be better off six feet under really... :P

I would most willingly sacrifice my misery.

^^^ What he said ;)
I always said I'd do anything to be a girl in this world.

Everybody who cares about me tells me I should just do "whatever" makes me happy. I keep thinking to myself that happiness is in the moment and those moments pass until you find happiness again or it finds you. It seems in the past I have been in such pain I wanted to sacrifice my life to be happy. But I know there is no happiness in death. Only in life. So I just do whatever makes me happy in life.
One thing I would never do though is sacrifice other peoples happiness for myself.
I am not willing to sacrifice anything! I will not sacrifice. The sacrificing thing is in the past. Now, if I give something away, it is a pleasure to do so. If I end up housing guests for whatever reason, it is a privilege for me to enjoy. If I worry all night for my hubby, then it is worry and not sacrifice.
