Halloween has traditionally been a great holiday for gender bending costumes and before I came out this was one day I could "get away" with wearing a girly outfit or....
It was kinda strange today as I continued to just be and present as myself and enjoyed all the costumed people all around. What a fun change to be a "real" girl now.
What about you? Wear anything special? Got any scary pics to share?
I have felt I have been dressing up every day for Halloween until last year. I just love being myself now but I remember those days when Halloween was getting close and I could look forward to going out as myself. Today I enjoyed watching all the crazy ideas people came up with even the giant blue smurf.
Today I'm wearing a few articles of men's clothing for Halloween!
Tessa,
I used to do that. This year I went as a skeletal Court Jester. It's just a plain costume. I'm more relaxed than in the past.
Happy Halloween!
Jen
Green toe & nail polish. I'm just not sure if it's my color but I'll leave it on til morning & see how I feel.
As a last minute impulse, I got out my old motorcycle drag racing leathers, jacket, pants and boots. Sans helmet and gloves. But I did have my old prescription riding shades and a bandanna, I borrowed from my daughter. I arrived at my AA meeting and enjoyed the stares. Who is that new person? Is that a man or a woman?
Surprise! I'm both! My girl friends thought I looked so hot and the guys can figure out I am no poser biker. LOL! That ticked off a few manly men, just the reaction I wanted. This girl can spin wrenches and show them my tail through the traps at the finish line. The best man for the job is a woman! I smelled nice too, old leather and racing fuel. Giggle. They all wanted hugs though. Joann
A friend did makeup for me and I turned in to a beautiful witch (https://www.susans.org/forums/index.php/topic,146688.msg1269014.html#msg1269014).
Mr. Peanut.......in disguise.
