I hope I am not wearing out my welcome by posting yet another topic, but glasses are a bit of challenge for me. I'm not exactly blind when not wearing my male glasses, but this computer screen would be a complete blur without glasses. I have never had contacts and to be honest glasses actually improve my appearance. They frame my face in a positive way. So what does one do when you can't really without them, but the ones I have aren't very feminine? Any thoughts?
1. There's no limit on topic starting. Explicit or implied
2. Find some glasses that are androgynous or feminine if you can
3. If you can't, wear them anyways, strain on your eyes could make it worse.
I don't have viewing issues, but anyway I use non-prescription glasses just to add a feminine touch when i dress as a woman
I got a pair of unisex bifocals.
:)
If the frame is thick enough, you might add some 'bling' to 'em till you can afford new specs? Ya' know, those fake rhinestones you can still on--just don't overdo it....you want classy, not gaudy...well, mebbe' you WANT gaudy...who am I to say? :P ~V.
I would recommend you making a new pair of glasses and getting a feminine or unisex frame. Sometimes your old lens can be transfered to a more feminine frame if the size is similar to your current one.

You can adapt to wearing lens
To tell you the truth, I think that wearing glasses ends up hiding some pretty facial features that usually can make your face more feminine. Your eyes and your eyebrows can end up hidden behind a pair of glasses and, for people with high miopia like me, it will make your eyes look really small
I am trading my glasses for lens this week! Part of my transition into my real me! I won't hide my face behind glasses again.
