Title: My hair depression getting helped.
Post by: Larisa on November 05, 2013, 07:36:55 AM
Okay so I went to the doctor a few weeks ago. My hair the reason why. I can't stand it thinning at all so the doctor didnt prescribe me propecia thankfully but I am getting some hair treatments done. Had to get my hair cut a bit shorter which was really tough but if it helps, I can deal with it. I find out when I get a blood test that I have hyperthyroidism and the most common problem in it is hair thinning. I was soooo happy to have hyperthyroidism and that its easy to treat.

I just want that long gorgeous hair like other girls.

This is where I remind you, plenty of women that have 'great hair' are actually wearing additional hair.

And I would be a fine example of saying, hey, stop caring about thinning hair, and start looking for a good solution in the way of a good wig.

I was positive, actually totally convinced a wig would be dreadful. I had a wig for months, and just wouldn't try it.

Then one day I finally relented, took the wig to a salon and asked them to make it look like it grew out of my head. Presto, I have hair, I have great hair, it looks like my hair, and the only people not fooled, have seen me for 20+ years without hair. Can't help that eh.

My niece uses extensions. It's not like she needs to, it's just an accessory. My mother could use a wig, age has made her thin hair very thin indeed. Hair loss is not the only reason to wear a wig. Sometimes it is just an option to look better the easy way.

My next wall to climb, make up. I bet I will look great properly done up. I won't know till I try.

I would stop killing yourself waiting for the hair to magically return. You likely will find a miracle diet sooner.
