Title: Great Ted Talk about Coming Out of Closets.
Post by: jojoglowe on November 09, 2013, 06:03:08 AM
Hi everyone! I hope I picked the correct section to post this in.

A friend of mine shared it on facebook and I would like to share it with everyone here.

I really like how she talks about straight people coming out of their closets.

Enjoy!

Great video!  I saw it on FB too, and promptly shared it. It went right to my heart and gave me new perspectives on the phrase "coming out." Hadn't thought about how *everyone* has a closet...even straight people.

Makes me wonder what other closets I may have...

Best video I've seen all year.

TED videos are great (the one about body language comes to mind). My favorite thing about them is they tend to pack important educational things into a short amount of time, and they're usually entertaining too, so it's easier to remember and actually learn something.

That's an interesting point of view, everyone has a closet. And the term "gay grenade" makes me smile. I tossed a few of those years back. But evidently they should have been "trans grenades".

Thanks for posting this.
