Hi Tina, welcome to Susan's Place! I'm from Boston. The Wiki Staff already did the research for us: https://www.susans.org/wiki/Category:Hormone_replacement_therapy  I hope you find your answers in there, if not, ask away. See you around the site, hugs, Devlyn

Hi Tina,

Welcome to Susan's. You will find that self medication is severely frowned upon here. Please go through a doctor.

There is much to learn and using a therapist to guide you can be useful. Meanwhile, feel free to ask your questions and read other's posts and experiences.

Hi Tina!

Welcome to the family. :icon_hug: We want you to be you, we just want you to be safe getting there. Is it not possible to tell a doctor? If not, can you see a new doctor? It may seem like we're being all judgmental and stuff about the self-medication, it's just that we really do care. We're here for you. You are very welcome to read much and ask many questions. I hope you do, and I'm happy you've been adopted here, sister.

You're not alone.  :D

much love,
-maggie

Hi Tina  :icon_wave:

Welcome to Susan's  :)  Glad to have you here

Here is the rule regarding HRT from the Site Terms of Service and rules to live by

Quote8. The discussion of hormone replacement therapy(HRT) and it's medications are permitted, with the following limitations:
A. You may not advocate for or against a specific medication or combinations of medication for personal gain. This is strictly prohibited.
B. You may not discuss the means to acquire HRT medications without a prescription. The discussion of self medication without a doctors supervision is prohibited.
C. The discussion of recommended or actual dosages is strongly discouraged to prevent information obtained on this site from being used to self medicate.
We can not in good conscience condone the self administering of these medications. Not only may self medication be illegal, but HRT medications can cause serious health problems, and many have the potential for life-threatening side effects that can only be detected and prevented with proper medical supervision.

Please be sure to review

Hugs

V M
