I can't really give you any really useful tips. But I had my minor love handles transferred to my thigh sides. It made a wonderful sculptured difference to my waist, but made a more subtle difference to my hips. I had about 700ml of fat removed. After purifying, this equated, in the end, to about 150ml into each thigh.

Recovery was quite easy. There was a bit of bruising and 5 or 6 tiny puncture wounds protected with plasters. I had to wear a compression garment for 6 weeks. I avoided sleeping on my side for this time.

I want a second go with it. The next time will include fat taken from the inner thighs (increased thigh gap) and a blob around the belly button, which again will be transferred to the hips.

If you're already thin then it can be problematic finding enough fat to transfer. It's a double-edged sword. I've seen some quite dramatic changes made with liposculpture, but the patients seemed to have literally rolls of spare fat hanging around their waist and much everywhere else. Also, putting on weight to gain fat for transfer may be self-defeating. You need to maintain that weight to keep the grafted fat at the optimal volume.

I had to wear the compression garment for 24 hours a day for 4 weeks and then only 12 hours for the last two weeks. I can't see why you can't go back to the gym 3 or 4 weeks after.

This is very enlightening! I didn't know such a procedure existed. The hip area is one place HRT has not really shaped the way I want it. I'm gonna look into this.  ;D
