Saw it on another forum and was so popular! So many posts!
So post here love statements(if there's no possibility to tell that person in real life). :'(
buddy Andre
Well then, Andre, I'm sure it will be popular here, too! :)
That is a great picture of you Andre!
I love Christine Jorgensen because her story told me I wasn't the only person in the world like me and let me understand why I was the way I am. I don't know if she let the news out, was exploited or it was just found out but it was generally the first knowledge of transsexuality for most of the people in the world.

Aaaaaaaaaaaaah yes I love my spouse as well, buuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuut,
Hello Andre
I love chocolate. I don't know what it is but when I'm feeling down or feeling blue chocolate just does it. I just get a great feeling and all is well with the world.

Actually I love those who have gone before me blazing trails that I would find difficult to navigate. Yes there are a lot of very special people out there who I would like to be able to say to them that "I love them"

@Steph
Mmm...yap I love [CHO(CO)]LaTe either-unfortunately it's not good for liver(mine was damaged a bit at birth) and if I'll go on HRT..will have to reduce intake:) There is special diet when you're on HRT,right? ???
@Melissa
Great Melissa! Good to have harmony in home:))))
Andre, no special diet when you're on HRT in general (other than that you crave protein), but there might be in your case. They'll have to watch your liver levels.
And, thanks to testosterone, my secret crush changes every week, so I'm not gonna commit to anything in this thread!
Well maybe one - Susan, I love you for starting this site and keeping it going. I promise, no stalking though ;)

QuoteSo post here love statements(if there's no possibility to tell that person in real life).
There were two girls in my 2nd and 3rd grade class at Cardinal Spellman Catholic School in Nebraska their names were Sarah and Gabrielle. They were the first to really know me (intuitively, I didn't have to tell them even if I had known the term for it or what was wrong) and we hung out on the playground at lunch all the time. They were probably the truest friends I have ever had. And I still hold my position that Boy George is a horrible singer (a constant arguement the three of us had)
Anyway, I love them both for their unfailing friendship at the time.
Jessica
Well, let's see . . . top of the list has to be those who made life possible:
Dr. Stanley Biber, pioneer and humanitarian, for his radical technique and "negotiable prices" without whom I wouldn't be here.
To the Dept. of Psychiatry and Dept. of Obstetrics at the University Hospital in London, Ont. for being so kind and understanding with their very first TS patient and for the letters that paved the way to Dr. Biber.
And a big raspberry to The Clarke Institute and OHIP (the Ontario health insurance program) - THANK'S FOR NOTHING!
To those who came shortly before me and "drew fire" so I could slip away to freedom.
Finally, to all those who struggle today, on the path to finding themseleves - to all of you, a BIG {{{HUG}}}
aww Jane, make me shallow.. I'm naming movies, songs and trivial things and you take the high road ;D
Jessica, you must be in Omaha or one of the burbs Cardinal Spellman is so familiar.. I lived in Bellevue and/or Papillion for many years
Oh, and I love what we learn about each other in this "Love u" post ;D
DennisInGA
It was in Omaha. I don't live there anymore, my Dad was stationed there
Let's stay on topic. Great thread lets just say:
I love Christine Jorgenson for reasons allready mentioned.
I love my wife of 25 years who has always stuck by me no matter what and who now supports and helps me through my transition without batting an eyelash.
I love my step daughter who has been told and supports me and wants to help in anyway she can.(Studying for PHD in Psycotherapy by the way)
I love life because everyday is a new adventure and I am never bored.
Cassie
hello Andre, you were asking about a special diet or not when doing HRT with liver problems. I can relate to that one easily enough as I have Hep C (chronic) and it took me almost two years to find docs who would perscribe estrogen to me because my liver was already functioning at twice the normal rate.
The problem is that estrogen has to be motabilized by the liver and most docs feel that estrogen puts to much stress on the liver for it to be safe. In my case, all I did was cut almost all fats out of my diet, as fat has tremendous impact on liver function. The liver must transform the fat into a water soluable solution before sending it to the blood stream. In fact, eating chocolot with any regularity, or any fatty foods has more impact on the liver then estrogen would. I simply leave fatty foods along and eat a lot of broccoli and other foods which break fats down before they get to the liver, aside from a couple of spike periods where there was reason for worry, I've managed to get along ok, though my readings are almost twice that of a normal liver. So yes, if you have such things as liver damage, diet can be an important part of HRT when on estrogen. Not sure what Testosteron does in reference to liver, but it could be researched easily enough. It depends on you doctor too though and how they feel about it, like I said, took me a while to find a TS psychiatrist MD who had the experience to work with such problems.
Terri

Did I Mention I Love This Place.. :P
DennisInGA
No you didn't. Want to tell us again? ::)
Could have swore I did Jane...
But sure, here goes...
Love the friendship, comraderie and open attitudes here..
Life is all about communication... most important thing anyone could ever learn.. far above any degree, trade or other skill.. even beats a rich uncle ;D
We have all these posts about how to tell others what the poster is feeling and experiencing.. they need some help communicating.. and when they can do that effectively, life becomes so much easier.. yeah, there may be some fall-out.. by they've grown leaps and bounds...
The people here share so mcuh of themselves personally... they communicate effectively... sure there may be some discord once in awhile... but even that just leads to more (hopefuly) open discussion.. is great
The most successful people however defined, have communication skils.. you can't beat the ability to express oneself and be accepting of those with the same talent....
Ok, I'll shut up now :)
DennisInGA
