Title: Happy Canada Day!
Post by: gothique11 on July 02, 2007, 06:10:48 AM
Happy Canada day everyone!

I had tons of fun tonight. I just got home a little while ago -- around 4:45 am.

I went out to my haunt, a club. I hung out with friends, ran into old friends, met new friends -- it was great!

Which begs the question... "Are you a Canadian citizen"?  :)

Canada day falls on July 1st, it was previously known as Dominion Day.

Where on earth do you live in Canada?
Only the province of Quebec, outside Monreal, is Canada day, not really celebrated.

Canada day is to celebrate, 1 July 1867, the birth of Canada.
Before, it was sort of a british colony, though it had gained a lot
of leeway from britain in the 1841 to 1848 period and
basicly had a kind of home rule by the time the formation of Canada arrived.
