Particularly on calves and triceps ?
I have large calves (my mother too) and some triceps and both make me look too masculine for my taste.
Anyone noticed a significant decrease in muscles of legs and arms ?
I am thinking about hormones and this issue with muscles scares me.
I would also like to have less bony knees, mine are not skinny but still I love having much more fat in the inside of the knees. You se what I mean. The thing that women hate to have.
I also already have a rather round ass, with fat, that is noticeable in pants. Not large on hips but full and round. Rather a good feature to be a trans. But I am a worried to end up with a very big ass like many many women who only have a big ass but rather normal body and look like a bottle of Perrier. I do not want to be obliged to wear thongs for obese women of 75 at only 40.

I also tend to stock fat on belly and hope it would go down on hips and tights.
Generally, and YMMMV, you get a decrease in muscle strength, and reduction in bulk.

I have been on E for about 6 weeks now and have found some noticeable changes in some areas.
As a cyclist and runner I have found my legs are getting leaner and a bit more shapely in a nice way as I had huge legs.
Thighs look so much better in my mind now bit calves still very large. This is going on 4-5 hour rides and an hour runs.
Upper body also has been trimming down.
Still it does take time and effort even when on E.

I know but what % can we expect ? 5 % ? 15 % 40 % ?

Huger calves than mines ?
I have had about 30-40% decrease in upper body strength. My legs have slowly got female curves.

If bulk too it is a good result in the upper part. Were you Muscular ? Normal ? Skinny ? Fat/muscular ? Fat ? Must make a big different for sure. Very encouraging.
I think I am rather a mix of fat and muscles. The fat hides the muscles.
How were your legs before ? Skinny ?

I never had much in the way of muscles to begin with & now I literally have like no muscles... I'm a total weakling and what I did have went to pure fat. As much as I don't like being overweight, all I can say is that I carry my fat better now as a woman than I did as a guy. So even Estrogen's ability to liquify my muscles, there is still a silver lining.
After 10 weeks I think I can see a size difference in my upper arms, but I'm not entirely sure. I have started feeling some strength loss, though. I can still lift anything I need to lift at home, but my arms and legs start shaking more easily. And every once in a while I imagine I can (almost) literally feel the strength draining away like water.
hrt broke me down completely i was very toned when i started at 18 I played tennis and ran track so you could just imagine lol but it definitely breaks down muscle mass tremendously
I went from a 37" chest to a 33.5" chest. My shoulders atrophied tremendously. My biceps shrank to female levels too. The only thing I wish WOULD atrophy is my triceps. They've shrank but they're still a bit big. Everybody says I'm too self conscious about it and they look fine, but they're a little big for my taste.
As far as my butt, I have some size 5 jeans that used to fit me perfectly about 6 months ago, now I can't even get into them. I tried to pull on a pair of pants that used to be loose on me, now I don't even need a belt when I wear them. My butt (especially the sides on the lower hip area) has gotten quite fat...
