Well... It had to happen,
Yep ... even I got hit on in the gym.... :o
I had just finished 1/2 hour on a treadmill, was sweating like a pig (sorry perspiring like an English Lady), hair flopping in my face and a cute guy came up to me...
"Excuse me Lady, I have watched you since when you came to the gym 6 months ago, then you had a very fat body, you have a nice body now, will you come for coffee with me"
OK, a back handed compliment, but a compliment all the same.
As a guy I never had much success with women, never really tried, but I cant remember a chat up line as bad as that (if I ever used them)
So an open question, what is the best and worst chat up lines you have used (or heard) in trying to pick up someone?

The absolute WORST was one that was tried on me by an ex-bf after I went clothes shopping once.
I found out later he got it off a website.
"Those pants are awesome, but I think they'd look better on my floor."
Worst I ever got was pre-transition, in a laundromat. A guy turned to me and smiled and said "don't you think it's a bit sad to see a guy doing his own laundry?"
I said "not particularly" and went to the pub for a pint.

Well, I've been lustfully leered at lately, but never really hit on - except via YIM.
These guys are something else. ::)
One told me via IM that I looked beautiful. ???
"And where have you seen a photo of me?" I thought. The [former] picture which I had placed in my old Yahoo! profile - was that on an XB-70 on takeoff. ::) ::)
I suck at chatting up women..Once I commented a friend on her looks and she turned around and said "You mean I look like a boy?"...I didn't mean for her to take it that way >.<. I guess cuz I never minded being told I looked like a boy..that my friends wouldn't either. This was before I figured out I was trans.
a gay dude say to me at the gym. I could take u to my apt & give you a bath & make u lunch.
lmao  I laugh & left

I got chatted up a lot by straight guys before I started transitioning......it used to happen in the pub or at gigs quite a lot.
a friend of mine used this on someone when they met after chatting with them online for months.
if you try a little harder you too can look and feel good like me... of course the entire 9months of chatting stopped instantly
shame...
