I am thankful that I found the courage to face myself.
I am thankful that this courage allowed me to begin the process of becoming myself.
I am thankful to my closest friends who have held me up through thick and thin, when things seemed darkest, and who found the light to brighten my days.
I am thankful for my daughter, who has loved me unconditionally throughout.
I am thankful for my grandchildren, who continue to make me laugh and smile.
I am thankful for everyone I've met on this journey, each of whom has brightened my life in various ways.
I am thankful for the internet and all the support sites on the internet, as places where we can gather, support one another, and "let our hair down".
I hope that each of you can find something for which to be thankful today, however small, and that it may grace your day with joy.
