Ok ladies, so Ive seen alot of post about this.. Sex after srs, my doctor says wait for 3months is recommended but I can try and have sex very slowly at 6 weeks post op...! Im now almost 5 weeks and started fooling around with my man and I definitely get excited when hes touching me slowly. ::)
So question when was the first time you attempted sex with your man and when did you let him go down.. I know I know my BF has been patient but I know he wants it...
Thanks girls.. :D
It was a LONG time ago but I only lasted 6 weeks as a virgin. I think the recommendation was 3 months but I was under the weekly care of a gynecologist and no damage was done. It was embarrassing though because somehow he could tell that I hadn't been a good girl ::)
I waited till about 4 months than well... good times :D as far as letting him go down it took a lil bit longer but I did eventually allow him to.
definitely be patient, as when ever the time does come well... its an experience, a bit painful than good.
I was post this exact post and ask what if we don't listen and do 6 weeks only after cos me I won't have patience 6 months seriously
Just be careful that's all...
Point is until the 3 months is up the scar tissue has significantly reduced strength - thus if you have insufficient lube, a larger partner, or a rather over vigorous one, you are at significantly increased risk of tearing and prolapse... both of which would be major complications.
Once you know that, if you choose to take that risk, well good luck and Enjoy.
No can say for sure that it will be fine, because there is a risk, but the chances are, as long as you take due care...
Oh and this isn't formal medical advice because I'm not qualified to give it yet.

This knowledge right here was enough to scare me that I waited an extra month to be healed up. as I didn't want to take any chances, just think if your partner was to rough etc and ripped you open? first the horror than pain and finally perhaps ending up having to be sewn completely up with no vagina? f-that way to scary and IMO a hella a waste of money in the end :(
Yeah, at 6 weeks I was still afraid of damaging something with the *dilator* (unlikely, but I worry). I couldn't even imagine letting some guy jackhammer away at what was a fragile, painful surgical site. Sorry. :(
The discharge instructions said I could have begun having penetrative sex at 6 weeks, but it never happened. GRRRR. Still hasn't at 11 months. Double grrrrrrr.

Exactly my thoughts, 6weeks too soon for me, 6months was too soon, I waited nearly 14months before I let my BF go down, I was just nervous he might do damage, better to be sure than sorry, he was patient, use to try and seduce me with flowers, chocolates and lingerie. the waiting period was nice, I used to tease him, he said it was worth the wait, 6weeks is way too soon, takes time for a girl to heal.
