my time is ticking down till the BIG date. i emailed ms som 6 days ago.. but i have yet to get a reply. this worries me. is anyone else emailing them and heard from them in the last 6 days?
Once some years ago, he took more than 1 week to reply me but he finally did and apologized. I talked to him 1 month ago and he replied. Maybe he's just super busy. It's his secretary who generally replies his main mails but personal evaluations by himself personally, just send him again to confirm if he did receive your mail or maybe it went to his junk mail or something.
This sometimes happens with Som at Dr. Chets either because of going into a junk mail file or being very busy, or possibly just forgetfulness. my recommendation is to email again and note of your previous email attempt which usually gets a response, at least for me, I did email them the other day and got a response (fyi)
try not to worry to much as it happens.. ::)
its been seven days. two emails were sent restating the past email. i have no idea whats going on, but im starting to think all this was a set up . maybe in over exaggerating, but this is so important to me it feels so surreal and that ive been tricked in the fraud of most frauds. do they celebrate thanksgiving there? maybe their off for a week vacation? do any of you mind emailing them to see if you recieve a response?

sure I'll go ahead and pop them an email, its not a set up don't worry so much, heck between the deposit and the flight I actually hadn't heard from them for 3 weeks than out of the blue som emailed me to verify last minute details.. so relax a lil bit I'll email them and I am sure everything will be fine ;)

well imo its understandable, after all they aren't so giant practice with a giant clinic, Som is pretty much the only one conveying emails back in forth and that's pretty much all she does all day and well she is the only one doing it. Think of it this way, there is 7 people at his clinic 3 for admin and 4 nurse's typically DR.C has 2 patients at the clinic, with others in recovery at the hotel and also waiting for their surgery. there is usually only 1 nurse on duty at the clinic while the others are making check-up trips to the hotel.
as for admin one is DR.C's personal paperwork assistant one is the financial and well SOM is the correspondence.. so you can see how they can sometimes be overwhelmed. :-\ and imagine all the emails they receive on a daily basis from the future possible patients I originally didn't get it till I realized how they were staffed. so have a lil faith in the good people :-\
I can assure You it is kind of normal when mailing with them, but usually if I'm waiting more than 7 days for response I just send another message in same conversation like "Hello bla bla could You answer my previous email bla bla". Had such lag in communication after I issued last partial payment, so I was also a bit worried, but they answered after the "please reply to my previous email".

Just received email from them about srs letter, "Thank you very much for your e-mail. I apologize for the delay of the process as I am still waiting for the approval from Dr.Chettawut. We have been very busy this month(...)"
He contacted me today, he is very behind it seems and they asked me to get your email addy so I can forward it to them so there ya go just pm me your addy and ill get it to em ;)
For your information there's also bigs protest and riots all over Bankok right now due to political upheaval. Maybe they say busy but the truth is they can't go to work these days.
Hi Lovelessheart. His office took a while to reply to me. maybe over a week. Sometimes surgeons/receptionists do. 9 times out of 10 they will get back eventually. don't fret, I know it's frustrating. I wish you well :)
I just got back from bangkok last week, and the protests are pretty isolated, even though they've since gotten worse. I don't believe Dr Chett's office is near the protest sites... certainly for Suporn patients, Chon Buri is unaffected, as is Suvarnabhumi airport...
Can't seem to contact him for around 2.5 weeks as well ever since I came back
gotback home this Friday had my surgery with Dr.Chett wait for the reply or just resend , dont worry happened to me Ms.Som gets alot of emails
just to make u feel excited u will love His nurse SIRI shes totally helpful and caring

omg Sri is so nice she is one of the best people there and I miss her so much she kinda became like my mom when I was there lol waghing out for what I ate and lecturing me about not reading the ingredients (allergies) at first I thought she was kinda mean but I grew to love her and cried when I had to leave.

I cried like a baby in her last visit and we ended up both crying while my boyfriend was looking and holding his laugh lol . She's really I sweet heart will be always missing her i didn't cry when I said bye to chett but when it came to her I just couldn't hold the tears .
The good doctor replied my emails, I guess he was rather busy considering that it is the holiday season
