Title: Anti androgens effect on skin
Post by: Amy1988 on December 06, 2013, 06:07:39 PM
What effect will anti androgens alone have on the skin.  Will it take on a less masculine appearance if T levels are very low?

It will have an effect in reducing sebum secretions, so it will lessen the likelihood of acne and oily skin and hair. It will probably result in less muscle definition so might change the overall shape of the skin, however it is estrogen that will lead to a more pronounced roundness of shape. You might find a reduction in the strength of beard growth and a general reduction of body hair thickness. It's possible the skin will become less coarse but as I understand it, it is the estrogens that really have an effect on the softness and smoothness of the skin.

Short, simple, and to the point, i like seeing that. Sounds like a plus if you ask me. :)

I used to have acne... but after a month on oestrogen, it has dissipated A lot. So definitely a plus!
