Title: Finally a ray of light in a pit of darkness! I won $5000
Post by: Shawn Sunshine on December 07, 2013, 02:08:47 PM
 admist  all of the darkness that was happening in my life, with the threat of eviction and not having enough money to get things paid for. Having just started a job in not getting a paycheck till the 20th. Having my mom speak unmentionable words that I would never be to anyone else. Admits all of these bad things I ray of hope came out of the darkness! I just won $5000 from Texas State Lottery!!!!

That's very kind of you. I couldn't imagine doing that myself. It's your money, so your decision, and I pride you on that.

It seems to me that as grateful as I would be, to be that lucky person you help, You would be better served and serving if you took care of your own personal needs first. Secure living space, funds for medical care, transportation, daily bills etc. That would help ensure that you are around to help with words, advice and experience which any one of us may need in the future.

Your money, your choice.

Kia Ora Shawn,

I would suggest making a "To Do' list, Counselling costs, lazer treatment costs, etc, etc...$5000's not going to go far in this day and age...

Spend it wisely Shawn...

Metta Zenda :)

LordKAT is correct.  Shawn, you are a good person.  A kind person.  Do what you need to do, what you are led to do.

Hugs of joy,

Jen

And what happens when the car dies, the job goes up in fire and the place to live goes? Keep at least a months worth of expenses saved up.
