Kia Ora Folks,
Well the silly season will be soon upon us....
So for those of you who celebrate it :
Is Christmas more of a traditional religious occasion?
Or just a Pagan get-together, prezzies, feast and booze up ?
The sun, the sand, the ocean, Xmas on the beach...Don't you just love it...
Metta Zenda :)
Honestly, this is how it has went for the last few years: Everyone builds the anticipation for the holiday, followed by the crushing disappointment when the inevitable reality of how dysfunctional our family is sets in. I don't know why some of them keep putting themselves through this every friggin Christmas but oh well...what can you do?
Kia Ora,
Sadly it is also the time of years when domestic violence increases, relationship break ups, money problems, people spending/living beyond their means...
It truly is the "silly" season-where desperate people do crazy things...
Metta Zenda :)
As this time of year is really Pagan

I second the paganism.

Some fun in the snow. (For one person, anyway.)

Kia Ora Ms OBrian,
"
Let us welcome the returning sun with hope and joy (Summer party time downunder)
May you never thirst ! (Booze up)"
It sounds more like an Aussie or Kiwi party time mantra...
Metta Zenda :)
This time of year is a time of reflection. I'm thankful to have seen another year because many people did not. Being thankful
and greatful for so many blessings makes the season very meaningful. Sharing it with others is truly my gift to others.
:)
