I apologize if I upset anyone or if this is the wrong place but I don't have any guy friends to ask this (even if I did, nobody outside of immediate family knows and I'm not ruining the stealth, so to speak). When one sits down and crosses their legs like a lady would, rather than the L shape position, where does the thingie go? Up? Down under the crossed leg? What effect does size have on this (like large and really small)?
I always, always tuck and I can cross my legs. It goes down because it's tucked that way semi-permanently.
Not a problem, Frank. In a word: tucking. https://www.susans.org/wiki/Tucking_and_taping
Hugs, Devlyn
I'm not asking to tuck, I'm asking as an ftm where it goes...surely you weren't tucking all your lives.

I didn't cross my legs like that, but it would go downward.
And mine is not large... just under average, probably.
OK, I'm in boy mode and just crossed my legs like a woman. It's all kind of perched on top of my legs. Is that what you meant? Hugs, Devlyn
Up. As Devlyn said.
Eventually in a hospital waste bin? Well, at least most of it.

Well, when I cross my legs, it tends to go on top. I'm very small down there, though. And I know a lot of guys do complain "well, I don't cross my legs because it hurts my balls," so I'm probably in the minority there. There are lots of guys who don't do it because their equipment gets pinched.
The thing is, though, as an FtM, it's probably not advised to cross your legs in a feminine manner like that in the first place. Some guys do do it, but I think you'll find that most guys either sit like this, with their legs apart:

Or if they do cross their legs, they'll do the "manly cross" where one leg sits parallel to the ground rather than having them both knotted up right next to each-other:

You just love a chance to bring that up, don't you?
Yes. Yes, I do! ;D
Most guys don't cross their legs in the way that women do, it's more common to see that ankle on the knee type deal. When I cross (like a woman does), it goes up, but I don't tuck right now either.
I find it quite comfortable to cross my legs one over the other. My male-shaped junk has always fit comfortable in the hollow between my thigh muscles and my butt muscles.
There was a thread about this a while ago. I think the consensus was that some people's body geometry makes this easy, while others' make it nearly impossible. It didn't seem necessarily be related to what sex your body was at birth.
Carrie's advice is pretty spot on...most guys I see on public transport don't cross their legs, for some reason the majority sit with their legs as far apart as possible! For me, I'm the opposite of well hung so crossing my legs has never been a problem...
I thought about this a lot as a kid, and here's the skinny on it. Like Mogu said, with your left foot flat on the floor set your right leg (about 4 inches above the ankle) on top your left knee, and lean back in a relaxed way with your arms crossed. With your leg up like that you have opened up the crotch and given lots of room for that thing to hang down and be free. The key is the relaxed look, where your comfortable with your surroundings, and with who you are as a person. But don't do this in a meeting or during a formal occasion because it can make you look a bit pompous, or "full of yourself". Especially if it's overdone while your supposed to be paying attention to what's going on. This also takes up more space on a sofa, bench or chair, and it makes you appear a bit more confident when your talking to someone. (if your trying to do that sort of thing). And remember, it's not a sexually attractive pose, just a masculine way of sitting comfortably.
Warning. Watch out for problems when you're wearing loose shorts while doing this leg up routine. We were once throwing lit firecrackers at each other inside our farmhouse, and one fell down the loose leg of my shorts. It blew up just next to my sack, and luckily I was wearing a good pair of briefs. Felt like I'd been kicked by a horse, and there was a big burn mark on the right edge of my crotch. We'd get pretty stupid when drinking.

For me it all goes down between my legs, and I have fairly average sized parts. Could be my pelvic width or shape, I have a bit of a gap between my legs. I'm very comfortable crossing like a woman though.
I think it disappears somewhere between my big fat thighs (which my BF loves btw). Honestly I'm just a tiny person and it's no different there. It's the testes that get in the way. Well not so much anymore. My mans junk is like 9.5 inches so he could never sit like me. I would hope not at least cuz his junk is my treasure lol
That thing between my legs goes everywhere I go. ;)
Untucked, it tends to rest between my thighs. My scrotum kinda pops out below. It may be genetic, my grandpa sat the same way and I find it quite comfortable. Never thought about it much. At least until people made fun of my girly way of sitting, didn't change my behavior but I realized I sat like a girl.
Tucked, I find it can hurt a lot to sit that way unless everything is perfectly placed.
I can't cross my legs due to brain damage from my premature birth. Something about "mid-line" something or other. I don't know exactly what they call it.
As far as the water pipe is concerned..it's just there. I had the twins tossed out so that is no longer an issue.
For a long time I have just pushed the boy organ straight back in. It has tended to become shorter and shorter. I can also push it back in and have an organism. I just wear panty hose and a and a panty style body shapers. Even though I haven't taken hormones, its anything to minimize the boy parts.
However the boy thing has brought six children into this world and at 67 I really don't want it to work any more. Cutting down on the boy parts size doesn't bother me a twitt. So when I cross my legs, it doesn't bother me because every thing is either pushed in or pulled up tight.
