I was just curious if others have felt a feeling of being more tired on HRT than before. I know I sleep a lot better . I just seem to take a few more cups of coffee to get my brain a wake'
Being on HRT can potentially cause a drop in energy levels. Some people will sleep more.
Not on HRT yet myself, so I don't have personal experience.
When I started Spiro I got really tired hours after taking my first dose. I'm assuming it's because it lowers blood-pressure, and my b-p is normal already. But the past week or so I think I've adjusted because I don't seem to be getting abnormally tired. Could also be because I've been going to the gym a few times a week. I do sleep much better though. The sleep that I get feels significantly longer than it used to. Like 6 hours feels more like 8-9, or 2 feels like 4-5. Really weird stuff lol, but I can't complain.
When I'm cycling on progesterone, I did notice being more tired. Now I do it before bedtime.

That sleeping thing is weird that's how it feels
I seem to get tired a lot faster now than when I was pre HRT. But I think its from going through puberty. I remember when going through it the first time I was tired a lot then too.
Never got tired but dam did I have some wild ass dreams. Actually they were more common with the pre-op dosages. Not so common today but still on occasion I wake up from a dream that was quite real. Some are even nightmares which are scary. Crap come to think of it I even have a common post-op dream where the dam thing grew back and I went nuts over the whole thing.

I think its true, I do feel getting tired more easily...
I dunno i feel genually more weak...
oh yeah , so I have this horizontal bar in my door when I was 15 or something I was able to do like 15-17 push ups
last year I was able to do like 8...
and so I though I should give it a try a couple of days ago and I barely managed to do 2 of them :-X
lol
<raises hand>
I felt more fatigue, but wasn't sure if it was the HRT setting in or the change of seasons. That happened at about the one month mark. After the two month mark I started to get some of my energy (and some of my sex drive) back. Having said that, my PCP put me on vitamin D about the same time, so that may be working to help fight my fatigue.
Not much help after all, huh? As for dreams, they do seem to be more vivid--I just wish I did better remembering them.

I've also been experiencing getting tired earlier in the evening since starting HRT. I think its from both a 2nd puberty and the fact that testosterone levels dropping can cause fatigue and the body needs time to adjust from primary testosterone to primary estrogen. I was chatting with a close friend that transitioned MtF 8 years ago and she said the same thing happen to her, but after a few weeks the body gets use to it. As long as those are the only physical symptoms and your anxiety levels have gone down since starting HRT, your probably doing OK.
Prior to HRT I did have some insomnia, but now that has been illuminated :)
