Title: BA with Dr. Brassard
Post by: Tammy M on December 21, 2013, 02:12:06 AM
I will be having GRS with Dr. Brassard next year, hopefully in spring.  Right now I have all of my letters except the second therapists' letter and I am seeing her Monday so I hope to schedule a date by the first of the year.  I have posted in here asking about people's experiences with having BA and GRS done at the same time, and I would still appreciate any responses on that subject here.

What I am mainly asking her if anyone has had breast augmentation done with Dr. Brassard and if so what was your experience. There is a good surgeon fairly local to me that I could see after I get home and recuperate from GRS, but there are several advantages to having both done at the same time.  At the time of my surgery I will have been on HRT about 25 months.  I just do not know or have not spoken to anyone who has had top surgery with Dr. Brassard so I am curious to find out any information I can...
Thanks!

I didn't myself, but one of the women who had surgery the same day I did had him do a BA as well, and we recuperated together. Funnily enough, some people kept getting us mixed up, too. :) At one point I had my breasts examined by one VERY confused surgeon, before she realized it was the wrong woman!

Anyway, that woman reported that the BA was not significantly uncomfortable, the only real hassle was doing the massage (?) and care for that as well as the bottom surgery aftercare, and she was 100% satisfied with the augmentation results. I hope that helps a little.

Same when i was there one other girl had hers done at the same time.
I had my BA done in 2005 and i do remember reach was a issue for me.
I would say it will make things a little harder trying to do the things you will need to do down below but if you take things slowly and maybe have some help if you need the first 2 weeks you should be good.

Lost of luck and when you are around and would like some company let me now and will try to pop around and say hi.
