Title: The difficulty of my hurdles.
Post by: kathyk on December 21, 2013, 07:07:45 PM
Been contemplating the difficulty of hurdles vaulted over the last 18 months.  My list runs from most to least difficult, and is nowhere near complete.  It's just that time of year to think of these things.  Want to add yours?

1.  Coming out to my wife as Transsexual.  She knew I had gender issues for 20 years.
2.  Telling my sons.
3.  Accepting that I had to start my transition.
4.  Telling my family.
5.  Accepting I had to quickly transition through SRS (2 to 3 years)
6.  Shaving my beard and doing away with the few mens "Products" in the bathroom.
7.  Going part time.
8.  Telling my cousins and extended family.
9.  Seeing a gender therapist.
10.Going full time.

My list, from most to least difficult, is short.

1. Continuing
2. Interacting
3. Presenting
4. Starting
