Yesterday morning I noticed what looked like a bunch of mosquito bites on my upper arms. I had just gotten what I thought were bug bites on my stomach and leg the day before, and they itched, so I figured they were bites too. Then they started multiplying and getting bigger, in groups on my arms. I took some benadryl and they were gone in an hour, with no marks left like bug bites. They came back that night, then were gone this morning. Then later today they came back and they're still there. I took some medicine again and I'm waiting to see if they go away. It certainly seems like an allergic reaction to something, but could it be to my injections?
I switched from cream to injections almost 5 months ago, with no problems. My dose was upped a month ago, and I didn't notice any problems with it. I do my shots in my glute, and I did my last one on Monday. No irritation or anything at the injection site. The welts didn't show up until Wednesday. I know some people have sensitivities to some of the oils they suspend T in, but are my symptoms anything like that?
If you have been on injections for 5 months and haven't changed to a different suspension oil recently (I know some have issues with sesame oil) it's probably something else. Changed laundry stuff, soaps, new cologne, or something like that? I'm thinking T would be a lot less likely to be the culprit than something else. I myself am allergic to prolonged exposure to UV lights. Yep, allergic to the sun and get those types of hives you mentioned. Could be a whole host of things, but T? doubt it.
As a Paramedic that is an allergic reaction. If it keeps spreading or you get additional symptoms like a tight throat, trouble catching your breathe, balance problems or mental sluggishness get to the Emergency Room ASAP!
Get in touch with your doctor. Could be the oil used for suspension. If it were the T, you wouldn't reacted from T-cream.

Simon- Yeah, it seems kind of unlikely to me too. I can't think of anything that's different though, not food, soap, air freshener, or anything like that, so it's just weird.
Jessica- I do have a history of breathing problems, so I've been keeping an eye on it. I'm going to make an appointment with my doctor and get it checked out.
Jay- Even though it's all the way up on my arms? It seems weird, but I will give her a call and see what she says.

Actually I have NO idea at all, and neither do you. That's why you should get in touch with a doctor.

Yeah. From what the internet tells me, it looks like hives. Disappearing and reappearing and whatnot. But I'm still going to see my doctor to check.
