please help me, i've tried everything to bind my chest but nothing is working. my chest isn't even big but it's hard to hide and i just can't take it anymore. i can buy it, i just need to buy an amazon or visa giftcard or whatever, but i seriously have nowhere to send it. my dad is home all the time. i have my first therapist appointment on monday, i'm thinking of coming out to her idk, could i maybe get it sent to her or something?? i really can't deal with this anymore
Your parents open your mail? That's a federal offense.
Have you come out of a friend that you can send it to, or are there postal boxes you can rent in your area? Amazon is also doing a thing in the UK where there are sites you can pick stuff up from instead of getting it posted straight to your house. It's that a possibility?
yeah there's this thing where you can pick up your packages at the post office, but since i'm under 18, idk if i would be able to without my paren'ts permission
I think if you're the recipient of a package you can call and request to pick something up at a UPS distribution center instead of having it delivered. I doubt they'll ask if you're over 18. That seems like it would be a silly restriction. Teenagers order things all the time.
I'm doing this on Monday actually. I'm going to be gone every evening this week (yay tech week), but I have a package coming. My ups man never shows up before 7PM, so I know I'm going to miss him. I just called the local distribution center and told them I needed to pick it up instead. I think I just need my ID and the tracking numbers.

if you're under 18 I'm not sure it is. Either way, once its open its open, and one is left to explain.... That and I know even though my parents probably wouldn't have opened a box to me they're sure as hell going to want to know what it was I ordered - lest it be something dangerous. They'll probably scope the box for a company name ect. anything that may point them towards its contents.

Not for a minor sorry. It's unpleasant. Even if you are not a minor, doubt anybody would actually take the case in a court of law.

quite apart from the legal aspects of parents opening the mail there is the very simple fact to consider: mothers know exactly what their children are up to and the idea that you could keep a binder secret in the house let alone on your body is wishful thinking.
better try having the conversation with the family doctor or a therapy clinic before trying to get the binder.

I bought myself a binder a few months ago and my family members are none the wiser. I don't wear it around them obviously because they would be able to tell that I was wearing something to flatten my chest but I do wear it when I don't have to be around them. I keep it in a drawer with my t shirts. I also do all of my own laundry and such though so they never have reason to go through my clothes.

I had several binders, boxers, and packers in the house without them knowing. Parent's think they know everything, and maybe try to, but a lot of time times they really don't.
Have you got a mate who you could send it to?
