I have classified as trans M2F for many years but I just started HRT today and I just found out that what my doctor prescribed and I have read online HRT regimens for trans and the medicine im on are not even close to what other doctors give trans patients. I am in great health besides being 50 pounds over weight. Im 27 years old and I dont smoke. If anyone could give me advice? And if this HRT regimen will help me?

Trust your endo. It is a complex balancing act.
Avoid talking dosages here as it encourages self medication.

Allanah, doctors often prescribe low doses to begin with, and then ramp them up. That is to make sure that you do not have adverse effects from the meds, on your liver, kidneys, etc.
The first month I was on HRT, my E dosage was about 1/8th of a transitional dose. It was doubled after a month, and then doubled again after three months.
Better safe than sorry!
