Title: Funkybod
Post by: padfoots666 on January 08, 2014, 04:30:18 PM
I'm wondering if anyone here has tried out a product called funky bod and if it could work for FTMs. I've thought of this before but I'm not a seamstress and I wouldn't know where to get the materials to make such a product. But now it's available commercially. It is meant, though, for biological males.

I don't know if it would bind.  It's basically padding to make it seem like you have pecs.  Kind of like those padded panties women wear to give them more booty.

I don't think that the OP was intending it to be for binding purposes.

I would definitely give it a go - makes me think now about possibly buying one just to see.

I don't know why it wouldn't work for FTMs - it's just a padded shirt.

I think you would look odd with really skinny arms or too fat of arms with that shirt.

Since top surgery don't have much in the way of pecs. But not really too interested, I'm so happy to be flat now. LOL

I'm just wondering if it could possible substitute binders. As for arms, my arms are huge. But so is my chest which is a problem -_-

I don't think that will bind at all, I think its just a shirt with a padded section for pecs, like a padded bra for women

Seems to me it would just add more padding to the chest you are already trying to hide.

Yeah....no, not at all. Not only would it look awkward as hell if your arms are average sized but depending on how you bind your chest it might actually make it look worse. I once tried a football shirt with similar padding for protection purposes and it just looked unnatural.
You'd probably have better luck with a binder and moving your stuff around to make it look more like pecs, but of course thats dependent on the size of your chest and all.

Well, there is one thing it will do...

A bound chest usually has a shape that doesn't look like pecs. This would be able to give you a more muscle type shape.
