I read that the prosthetic emisil does not work with glue. I do not want strap .What is your experience with emisil ? Occurred to me to use this http://www.ftmprosthetics.com/Slideshow/Gallery/Album5/Large/H3.jpg or it is bull->-bleeped-<- ?
The original emisil erect packers did not work with glue, but it seems that the newer models might. The flaccid packers do work with glue. ANd from what ive read, FTM Prosthetics is a big waste of money, nothing special for something that breaks really easy and costs wayyyy too much for what it is.
I am very disappointed by Emisil.
I've had both erect and flaccid. None of them can be glue to the skin. I've tried everything from soft to Xtra strong glue.
Waste of manoey for emisil and ftmprosthetic.
The only one that works fine is Tyron.
bg83, are you going to do a review of Tyron with pix?

Wow, I just checked out the Tyron2 site and it looks pretty cool, would love to see a review. Too bad it's like $1500. It does look a little deflated when flaccid, but since it has the pump feature, maybe you could kinda leave it semi-chubbed for a better look?

Thats weird that yours didnt stick, my flaccid one sticks perfectly fine, i got my erect one replaced so i have the newer back. I just havent gotten around to trying glue on it yet. But ive heard of it working for other people.
Checked the Tyron site and it looks great. What I love is the STP option in a prosthetic which is something I've been looking for. It is a bit pricey for the simple pack but definitely something I would order. Looks like someone has been doing a lot of research to see what we've been looking for as well as what we need (with the pump, design for ventilation, soft STP catch design, etc.)
