I was wondering if I should develop my upper leg, thigh, and butt while I still have the testosterone to build my muscles fast.
Thanks for any advice :)
Yes. Lack of T puts a serious damper on increasing muscle mass as well as absolute strength. I have a T level of "4" as of last check, I have moderate cardio endurance in the gym, but am really a lightweight on quantifiable strength. I did a modest amount of biking(work commute) early in transition, and see no visual downside to it now. I am avoiding calf build, always hated em.
My general goal is just to be a good cardiac condition for my upcoming surgical recovery period. As it is, Dr Bowers ordered an EKG just today based on my health history.
Hi Shawna!
From what i've read it is a good way to prepare for the transition. I was looking into this a couple of weeks back and I found a great tread in the forum, but i've lost it now :(
I'm looking at building up muscle in my butt and thighs to help off-set my shoulders a bit and give me a more feminine shape. Is that what your looking to do too?
People were saying to focus on the lower body, with squats and the like. They also recommended yoga to work on flexibility and things like dance to work on more feminine movements :)
When I find the links again I can post them up if you'd like?
hope this helped
