Title: Small bump pimple-like?
Post by: TrojanMan on January 15, 2014, 05:46:56 PM
Sooo when I got home I noticed a little bump on the skin of one of my chesticles.. I think it's a pimple because some pimple- like puss came off it and its got a little hardness underneath and its tender. I really don't know if its just a pimple or something worse so... Anyone care to comment?

Do you have hair on your chest? I've started to get ingrown hairs and they're a lot like what you described.

Yes but I don't think that's what caused it and I was wondering if anyone else had something like this

Sounds like a sebaceous cyst, but you should have it looked at by a doctor if it's concerning you.

Is the skin around it red and angry (as in the larger outlying area)?  Do you have pain or tenderness when you squeeze it?

Depends on where it is.  If it's closer to your nipple and areola it's probably an infected gland, there are glands around the nipples that keep the skin of the nipple and areola hydrated.  Even when these glands aren't infected if you were to squeeze them, something similar to the consistency of a pimple's insides comes out.  If it's further out on the breast, it's probably just a pimple.

Yes it's close to the nipple. Thanks!
