Each year at this time, I set goal which I work to accomplish. It can be be anything from a reading goal to a writing goal to a personal goal. I have noticed to each year something about gender comes into play. Gender goals are harder to set because sometimes I may not be clear on what direction the goal will lead. Like life, gender is not stationary.
I have considered some things off and on. Name change and transition are two things that come to mind. I believe most of you know my position about transitioning. Regarding the former, this possibility has gotten stronger. Really can't why except that throughout 2013 people viewed me as a woman. I'm no prophet but I can see some scenarios playing out in next few years. I'm not at liberty to divulge them at this time but I've pondered over several of them for three or four years now.
What I get from all this is that no matter what goals I set and achieve, gender will play major role in them.
My goals this year are gender related too. :) I'm looking to pay for my surgeries and complete my master's degree. The degree is a given because if I don't finish soon I will get kicked out lol, so really, it's just about the surgery.

If I may ask, what field are you getting your Masters in?
That is pretty awesome how far already you have achieved your goals. I really shouldnt stop my goal of transitioning because I always feel anxiety for giving in and not.
