Hey there. My name is Tracy Lynn and I am new to this forum.
I am beginning my journey of transition after finally accepting myself for who and what I am. I can't say a whole lot right now because, believe it or not, I am shy.
I will cover the basics, I guess, though. I am 39 and have lived most of my life without accepting who and what I am. My journey to self acceptance has not been easy to this point. A great deal of my identity was/is tied up in the physical gender I was born to (male). I haven't started HRT yet but hope to later this year. In the mean time, I am getting comfy with the idea of expressing myself as the gender I truly am.
I am hoping to make some friends here to have folks to talk with and share my journey.
Welcome Tracy, lots of helpful info and ppl on this site. Don't be afraid to ask questions :).
Welcome Tracy Lynn to the forum,
Starting has been a hard thing to do for all of us. Take things one day at a time.
I would suggest you find a good therapist that know about The WPATH standards of care. They will help you in this path towards a more happier life.
Stay strong, Stay safe and hold on for a very bumpy ride.
Hugs
Isabell

Hello, Tracy. What part of NC are you in?
Hey Tracy. Southern girls are cool. Like the one, Jaime Renee, who posted just above me. :)
Glad to have you here. Get comfy. Pass a good time.
Welcome.
A big warm welcome to the family! :) This is a safe place to learn and find out you are by no means alone out there. I hope you enjoy your time here and hope you PM if you ever need anything at all. Don't be shy and ask whatever you need to know about transition or just plain life. This place is very caring and the mods don't let things get out of control. They are really superb in what they do. So come on in relax and get to know the rest of the family. Here is a BIG HUG ( :icon_hug:) to get you started off right! :)

Bienvenue Tracy Lynn ;)
You have found a great virtual place to bloom. Shy, yes, me too, been hiding for decades. No doubt, you will find girls to share with here, I'm new here too and I have to say it's been a very welcoming space. Getting comfy, well... the level of comfort here is (to use a northern metaphor) like a glass of merlot in front of a crackling fireplace on a blustery evening. So honey, step in out of the cold, kick off your mukluks, strip out of your parka, grab a glass and come and join us here in front of the fire. 8)
Hi Tracy_Lynn,
A big Aussie welcome to Susan's family. It's good of you to drop in and say "Hi". Hope you like it here, and you stay for a while.
There is a mountain of information, resources and friendship waiting for you here, you just need to jump in start talking and ask any question you like. You're quite safe here and we are very accepting.
Congratulations on making the hardest decision in your life. Accepting yourself. That's 90% of the hard work already done. The rest is just detail and filling in the blanks.
Looking forward to hearing more of your story in time to come, but in the meantime, be safe, well and happy.
Lotsa huggs
Catherine
