Title: Scarring from electrolysis? Little red dots
Post by: Yasmine on January 23, 2014, 04:49:20 PM
I had my last electrolysis treatment 1,5 year ago and I still have all these little red dots in my neck. I suppose it's scarring or permanently discolored or something, from the needle going in and out. My skin is very sensitive. I wonder if there's anything I could do about it? Something like chemcal peeling perhaps? It's not really visible if I wear make-up, but I don't wear make-up as often as I used to.

I'm not finished with electrolysis yet so I'm affraid things will only get worse :(

I've heard that Retinol or Retin-A can help with pigmentation and discolored skin. I'm pretty sure Retin-A is prescription only, so you probably want to go for Retinol, unless you can afford a dermatologist visit or two.
