Question:
So what way do you face when sleeping, or are you all over the place?
Option 1: I face right
Option 2: I face left
Option 3: I face the cieling
Option 4: I roll around, so no real set direction
Option 5: I sleep upside down! I'm a vampire
Option 6: On my belly
I roll around :P
Initally I lay down on my side..
... Then roll around a lot..
... Then wake up eyeing the cieling with my feet neatly together and hands folded on my chest or stomach (deadman pose) in one big mess of sheets.
Yup, I do a lot in my sleep (apparently)... ::)
i lay on my front, my face directly pressing against the pillow and than i roll around
Mainly on my belly, but I like to roll around as well, and throw the odd Karate move in. And I always wake up with a small scream.
on my belly, facing right on my side, facing left on my side - i rotate between all 3 all night every night.
i absolutely cannot sleep on my back. just doesn't feel natural.
no, like a coffin
lol yeah.
I usually lay down facing the ceiling. Then I roll a bit during the night and wake up in random positions. Sometimes I will go to sleep on my side. I have too big of breasts to sleep on my belly.

no, like a coffin
I just consider it practice. ;)
Don't need to practice, comes naturally with time.
I roll around and change a lot.
I have a new thing where as I'm falling asleep, I wake up and find my hand moving repetitiously as though I'm pushing a button. My legs are beginning to get jerky too. Sometimes, all I have to do is relax for that to happen. I am getting weird.
Why do you people keep asking me all these personal questions?
And, why do I keep answering?
What is it that you want from me? :'(

Well, I'd say, let's start with the little details, then move onwards to where you live, and somewhere along the line it would be nice to know your social security number as well and maybe a bank number or two. *nods*
Na :P It's just a lot of <3 dear.
i sleep like a girl OBVIOUSLY
well its either the recovery position
face down
or on someone...
although i rarely remember how i sleep, i never seem to be able to stay awake to see ...
I can only sleep on my tummy, I just can't seem to fall asleep any other way. I lay on my belly with my right leg straight, my left leg bent at an angle so that my foot touches my knee. Then my right arm is straight out with the pillow on it. Then I wrap my left arm under the pillow. Wow, a little more info than you needed huh :)
omg, ive so done that too!
I face right, for I can't sleep on my belly anymore... :icon_giggle:
tink :icon_chick:
mmm boob pillows :P
Roller and thrasher here. Sleep on both sides, with a slight preference for the right, and on my back usually only briefly, on the way to one side or other, or if I wake in the night and can't fall back asleep and end up thinking. Side sleeper, back thinker.
I normally sleep to the right.
However it depends on where the furry creature in my Avatar sleeps, as he will dictate which way I face.

ROFL!!! ;D :D I know the feeling, believe me!!!

I used to sleep on my belly, but now, I often get creases from the pillow or whatever that sometimes take 5-6 hours to clear up!!! UGLY!!! So, I'm now sleeping on my back, took quite awhile to get used to it. Also, when I sleep on my stomach, I sometimes get puffy upper-eyelids (not lower) in the morning, especially if ate a bit too much salt the day before (that takes 1-2 hours to clear).
All of this is probably due to old age... ;D
I can't seem to stay in any one position for too long. My mattress is old though, so it's hard to get comfortable.
My covers are almost always on the floor(or almost completely) when I wake up.
roll around. sometimes on my belly. never on my back, that feels way too weird.
vampire
generally on my left side, though i toss and turn and talk in my sleep a lot... the wall is to my left so it feels safer...
I should sleep on my back. It's the only position that doesn't cause my back to hurt after I was in a car wreck, but I just can't fall asleep like that. So I usually start on one side or the other and switch at least once during the night (usually twice).
I'm a wild sleeper so whatever works best for me.
The only constant about my sleep is that my head faces north. Otherwise I sleep all over the place, or at least as much as possible since my 16 lb dog seems to take up more room than me.
I face right 9/10
Axelle
I roll around and then end up on my back.
Because of my various injuries I wake up and change positions several times every night
Like Pixie I have a back injury so really have no choice but to lie on my back. >:(
With legs spread, ever hopefull

Blahahahaah, that made me laugh. Especially because this week my friend went into his bedroom and his boss was laying on his bed with her legs wide open, with another man standing at the side ready to pounce. Seems like this week will be all about spread legs.
Your friend, no doubt "sizing up" the situation, must have thought to himself, "That certainly is a sticky wicket." ;)
Whoa! Never found my boss in my bed, and I'm glad.
I start on my back, then flip-flop from side to side. My shoulders get too crunched if I only sleep on my sides. Where's that old geezer emoticon...
I face right most of the time, or up. If I'm facing up I tend to fold my arms over my chest or belly.
I don't feel comfortable unless I'm sleeping in a small bed with something over it. A compact space.
South West.
If I'm with someone and cuddling, I generally sleep on my side. Anything outside of that situation and I'm on my back.
I sleep facing the left side
What is sleep?
I've never slept well unless on heavy sedative, but when I do lay down I usually end up on my side. And I'm all over the place.

It depends on the bed actually. Cause I prefer to lie on my side closest to the outer edge that faces the room. At least until my ear starts hurting/getting uncomfortable, then I switch sides.
But also if it's very noisy around me, then I'll lie on my right side cause I'm deaf on my left ear so that muffles out most surrounding sounds if I don't have ear plugs. And if I want to listen to music instead, then I prefer lying on my left side so I can hear it.
So, I picked the option "rolling around" even though I do have various reasons for picking one or the other side.
For shorter times I sometimes lie on my back, but still have my head to either side. Can't lie on my stomach, it hurts my neck too much.
I face the ceiling. I preferred to sleep face down but no medication seemed to reduce the advance of my glaucoma when I did that. BeforeI was diagnosed, I once woke up to feel my eyes bulging out. Turning on to my back made them slip back into place. I think that gravity and the pressure on the eyeballs from the pillow were not good for my eye pressure when facing down.
Since sleeping on my back, my glaucoma has stabilised. However, I have also had laser surgery, which muddies the cause and effect. I haven't told my specialist what I think, as in my experience they dismiss the opinions of non-professionals.
I usually sleep on my right sleep in the arms of my Fiance.
90% of the time I face left
10% of the time I face right
but once I'm asleep, as my wife has told me, it seems that I flail around and often times end up in really unusual positions similar to how you might see a cat sleeping...
